Honor System Driving Agreement
2011 - 2012 School Year
** IMPORTANT ** Your signature on this document is, in no way, an admission or denial of any issues with any member of your family's driving record. This is simply an acknowledgment of the honor system that Metzger Community Preschool has instituted for the safe transportation of our children for off-site activities and your family's agreement to participate in the honor system.
If you, or any member of your family that may drive to an off-site activity, have had a suspension or revocation of your/their driver's license in the past 5 years, due to a traffic violation or arrest & conviction (DUI, possession, etc.), you/they are welcome to attend off-site trips but you/they promise to only transport your/their own family in your/their car or you/they may opt to ride with another parent who is driving.
You make this promise on behalf of all parties even if your/their license is in good standing presently.
MCP is not interested in any details and no judgment will be placed on anyone wishing to drive only their child in their own car. No one needs to tell anyone of the issue with the driver's license. This is just an extra precaution that we are taking for the comfort and safety of the participating families at Metzger Community Preschool.
Your signature signifies that you, and all parties involved in your family, understand the meaning and intent of this honor system and your family is committed to upholding this promise.
